Cross-Docking
The cross-docking operation is performed at the import customs warehouse and consists of the transfer of the cargo from the container directly to the customer’s truck. This modality aims to optimize transport because TCP is responsible for the return of the empty container, reducing transport and demurrage costs.
Cross-docking includes palletized cargo, non palletized cargo and big bag operations. The mode allows adjustments necessary for each type of cargo of the importer.
