Railroad
TCP is the only terminal in southern Brazil with rail operation within the primary zone, connecting exporters from all over Paraná, São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul through extensions arriving at Cascavel, Cambé and Ponta Grossa.
In partnership with Brado Logística, the rail modal reduces costs by up to 30% compared to the road transport, thus one in five containers exported by Paranaguá use the rail mode. The main segments are:
Frozen meat;
Food: sugar, coffee, manioc starch, peanuts;
Wood;
Fertilizer;
Leather.
TCP is committed to sustainability and therefore strongly invests and promotes extension use.
